@adam yes. evidently you are doing a good job with it. The new bouncepad is also set up to handle feeds with more than one liveitem. the old one would just bug out and play a random one.

@mitch I don't know yet. I haven't come to trying to implement v4v stuff yet. My plan for the start, without having looked at it, was just to get NWC working and hoping there's enough wallets and services that support it already.
But I didn't look at it at all yet.
@mitch yes I thought about it since posting that. I haven't changed anything yet but I think I will have it try to reparse the feed like every minute or so maybe 2 or 3 times. See if any live item changes then. There's too many rss feeds with several live items to make assuming which one is meant to go offline hard.
I also need to put something in for when they don't do anything at all. Sometimes people don't change or even send a podping out either.
@Lyceum @samsethi my main problem was i didnt read the euro sign at the left of the value field as meaning i need to enter a euro amount. so of course i cant boost 2222€ worth of sats if theres like 3€ worth in it.
thats my fault i think.
and on PC now i was able to put in money through stripe. it still doesnt work on my phone though
oh no im leaking again.
triggered by james saying he searched himself on whatever it was and it didnt find him.
the search on new bouncepad is called Composure. it just works and is a nice, calm experience.
i hate crap, unpolished software. (Like the current, soon-to-be-replaced Bouncepad).
Getting cross with podcasting 2.0 apps. Can't send boosts from fountain still.
Truefans kinda works but I can’t send a 2222 boost because I only have 4100 sats (???) and trying to add money I guess crashes the app. or whatever is happening. And no topup from strike but that's fine.
Castamatic looks like it only works with alby. Which I don't use anymore.
I just wanted to get on a walk and listen and boost

Logic question.
The feed is the source of truth I thought.
So if a live item ends, they send a liveend podping. But didn't change the live item to ended yet. Currently I assumed you would update the feed to ended and then signal live end to indicate I need to parse the feed again.
Or Is the expectation that in my db I just force whatever the newest live item is to false. That would be crap with feeds with multiple live items in them.
@js @dave framework doesnt determine style and look though. but a tool i like for curiosity is Wappalyzer. asa browser extension. it works mostly fine. its basically correct for the new bouncepad webapp coming soon.
and if you test all the models that exist right now, claude 4.5 or 4.6 both with a good design skill is the best one. gpt 5.3 codex is better at code but awful at design
