StartLocal Podcast is a great example of how you can do a geographically local show right!

@liamdempsey@mstdn.social has a show that he does, with Joe Casabona, for the Chester County PA area that highlights businesses and organizations in the area.

It’s a great example of how you can indeed do a podcast for a geographic region and do it well.

Opus Clip is a great AI tool to help you find the best clips and make them look great! Worth checking out!

I know… I know… Podcasting.Chat is only about 24 hr old. But being impatient, I’d love more podcasters to post in/to the forums.

I have content streaming in from relays and watched hashtags, I want this place to be a hub for podcasters across the Open Web.

TBH I only listen to non-fiction shows.

I’m really enjoying The Rest Is Classified podcast. Others are mostly tech-centric, though Laugh Lines by the Holderness Family is great too. Kim and Penn are hilarious.

Spot on guys! Planning is so important. Just going at podcasting willy-nilly with no plan in sight is going to lead to burnout and pod-fade.

I’ve tried other hosting providers and many of them are great. BuzzSprout is really good as is Transistor.fm. I just like the idea that you pay for what you use vs. one price fits all.

Loving the hosting options that @truefans@truefans.social brings to #Podcasting.

The idea of streams vs downloads and only paying for the amount of data that you use is really a neat concept.

For example, if you have a small podcast, after 3 months you might only have to pay a few bucks for hosting and when show grows, the hosting grows with you.

I don’t think any other platform does this.
