@js mmm... They uploaded web page URL instead of a playlist. We don't host files in the alternate enclosure yet, so it's not easy verify the content, and users can make formal mistakes. As an improvement, at minimum we will add URL extension validation to prevent major errors (so no .html extension would be allowed if .m3u8 is expected).

@alberto Sounds good!
Another good check might even be to prevent text/html as a content type for an alternateEnclosure.
