I'm looking forward to learning the code to put in my functions.php file after WordPress decides to junk up my site with automated Markdown files.

AI bots already have everything they need to crawl and analyze content:

    - HTML is simple, and parsing even poorly coded sites was solved years ago.

    - If the argument is token usage, then rely on the parsed HTML and the Schema markup, and then analyze with AI.

    - If you need richer metadata, update the RSS spec, something @tg is working on.

so I guess there's nothing stopping hosting companies from _also_ putting the hls url they give to apple in the alternate enclosure. But making that the primary mechanism would've made for a better forcing function. https://podcastindex.social/@js/116081739619861743

@pl @js I don’t think it’s that simple. If the only thing that mattered to Apple was revenue, they would’ve never supported podcasting in the first place, since for most of its existence, Apple never made a dime off podcasting.
