The feed is the source of truth I thought.
So if a live item ends, they send a liveend podping. But didn't change the live item to ended yet. Currently I assumed you would update the feed to ended and then signal live end to indicate I need to parse the feed again.Or Is the expectation that in my db I just force whatever the newest live item is to false. That would be crap with feeds with multiple live items in them.
@silas we've been using @js's livewire podping listener for a few years now, and it seems to be quite reliable for detecting podpings.Re: "reparse the feed every minute", I would suggest the responsibility is on the podcaster (usually their RSS feed hosting company) to make sure their RSS update process is aligned with the Podping process.We've run into issues with requesting cached feeds in the past, but that is something that should also be handled by the RSS host.https://github.com/podverse/podverse/blob/develop/packages/mq/src/functions/mq/rss/runLiveItemListener.ts#L22 -

The range of skills, particularly data literacy and wrangling, as well as parallel compute, are not always parts of typical CS majors. I have taught data vis and parallelism in the ICAM (Department of Visual Arts) for over 15 years, and my colleagues in computing in the arts have been vanguards understanding AI in art for a long time. (No, you all just thought #genai... It is complicated...) -

First, a really convenient thing: You can "pop out" the Toolbox into a separate window!
To do this, open the Toolbox (using F12), click on the ellipsis menu on the right, and select "Separate Window".
I like this much better than the default "docked" modes, especially when using a scrolling window manager like #niri!

I only listen to a few podcasts, but Maintenance Phases and If Books Could Kill are the two I support financially and always look forward to — so I grinned at "the Extended Michael Hobbes Podcastic Universe."
