Or are not yet aware of said assholes sharing a server which is the point being made above.
Absolutely do what you need to, that’s fedi’s key strength, but let’s not default to tarring a whole bunch of people without the full story.
There definitely are servers that knowingly permit this. There are also those who bring the ban-hammer but can only do so when aware.
