Just wrote a new post for Podcast Standards Project members:

"We need to play the game on the field: understand what genuinely motivates podcasters and listeners and respond with features they care about.

But, we're also trying to change the game."

If we're going to introduce new RSS-based features, they should reflect what podcasters and listeners want. The biggest danger to our project is adopting our own pet-projects instead of building stuff creators actually want to use.
