@bonkers Oh – it struck me that you might be talking about *me* needing to hide this, instead of yelling about it on the internet – which is a fair point! I do think if someone has physical access, they're more likely to just take the (non-encrypted) passport or whatever 
OTOH, if a bad actor actually knows me well enough to check the earrings, I probably have bigger problems...
