@martin There’s not a good way to let us know about a single episode (as in, inserting that one episode into the db) but there should be.

@dave @martin Wouldn't a podping reason update to the RSS/PI_ID be enough to check for the new episodes?
BTW: Wasn't the crawlers using podping for adding new feeds to the database? I've been doing some testing with [1] and doesn't seem to work:
[1] wget -O- "https://hub.podcastindex.org/pubnotify?url=${Feed}&podping
curl -X GET "https://api.podcastindex.org/api/1.0/hub/pubnotify?url=${Feed}" -H "accept: application/json"
@DavidMarzalC @martin Two issues:
1. Yes, what you describe should work but I've had someone else tell me recently that it didn't for them so I'll have to go troubleshoot that. [sigh]
2. While it *does* work, it's not immediate. That just puts it in the queue for eventual polling. I *think* what Martin wants is to be able to do an immediate insert. I also need this for another thing I'm doing.

@dave @DavidMarzalC I already create a "temporary episode" in Podfriend, so I can probably live without it being immediate (which I guess should also only be from trusted sources).
