Home after a looong day. Feeling a bit wobbly. Think a lot of things going on for me personally hit all at once. Set off by the way someone spoke and behaved towards me. Usually hold it all together but yeah.

Oh and not the person who really upset me but a FB friend also just decided to comment today about me sharing about my cancer diagnosis on FB. This consisted of a single post. To people i know and am comfortable sharing that info with. They don't have to do anything with it. Not even respond to the post.

She said she's old school and believes private things should be kept private. Not sure how private it can be when i'll be out of action for a while after they take out the kidney. At that point, do i lie to people about why i can't do stuff with them?

I am happy for people to know so they understand what's happening. And can support me if they feel so inclined. Or at least understand why i might not be as cheery for a bit.

@psychopoesie doing old school stuff like not telling people was isolating and harmful. I like your way better. That comment says more about her than it does about you. Hope you feel less wobbly soon.

Some people think social media should be all sunshine & lollipops, & pasted on smiles. Inauthentic.If they can’t deal with you being authentic, that’s their problem.
