Wieso haben #podcasts keine Webseite; kein Kontaktformular, keine E-Mail-Adresse, keinen #RSS feed mehr?
Menschen machen Podcasts nicht mehr nur um sich mitzuteilen, sondern zum monetären Zuverdienst. Sie nutzen propriietäre Dienste, haben ihren Podcast bei #spotify und werbefinanziert oder bitten um Geld via #ko-fi #patreon oder #steady und werben über #instagram
Das ist nicht souverän. Das ist Plattformkapitalismus, der in diesen Podcasts kritisiert wird.
Ich finde das nicht gut!

Wenn man dann mal nachfragt, warum, am Ende die Werbung so laut ist im Vergleich zum Podcast dass einem die Ohren abfallen; oder warum für fragwürdige Inhalte geworben wird, bekommt man die Antwort, dass Inhalt und Lautstärke der Werbung die Plattform bestimmt und auch die Lautstärke.

Wenn ihr mit euren Podcasts Geld verdient, dann erwarte ich von euch, dass ihr mindestens eine Webseite mit Kontaktmöglichkeit habt und euren Podcast via RSS-Feed ausliefert. Außerdrem, dass das Audio ausgeglichen ist (Loudness). Das kann man per Hand mit Script machen (ffmpeg) oder jemanden dafür bezahlen (auphonic).
Wenn der dann Werbung im Podcast ist, dann habt halt 2 Feeds, einen mit Werbung und einen bezahlten ohne.
So schwierig ist das nicht.

Aber diese Plattformen zu kritisieren und sie unreflektiert zu benutzen ist heuchlerisch. Das ist so wie große Tages- und Wochenzeitungen, die Überwachung kritisieren und ihre Webseiten voller Tracker haben.
