@surf Yes, I have spoken with them about it before, but no change. (it seemed a bit better in the previous release, but this one is doing the thing again. My Mastodon timeline in Mastodon itself and in Surf don't match at all)

Now, you have deeper customization options for your feeds β set your default tabs according to the type of content you want to highlight, filter by Bluesky or Mastodon, or even use Surf as your RSS reader. @surf@flipboard.social I'd really like to use my calckey.world fediverse account, but it crashes the app every time.

@surf Unusable on iOS with Voice Over. You see the buttons "featured", "search", "create your own", like static texts. Then after "featured", in sequential order, VoiceOver reads "button, button, button, button", a blind user simply doesn't know where to go.
I'm using testflight version 1.0.0 build 337.

@scottjenson I think that PMs should lock to who they are initiated with. That means the people tagged for that conversation when the PM is initialized are the only people who can be in the conversation. Further mentions *must not* expand the group.
I don't know if that means you should break the ability to do a private reply to a public message, but UX wise it might make sense to do so.

@scottjenson as often happens in UX, it comes down to ontology.
Is this a place for publishing or communicating? Are DMs in service primarily to facilitating the former or exclusively for the latter?
Someone has to decide. I can't imagine that's easy in a volunteer-driven org.
