I have my new whipper snipper & have put it together after a few false starts - my fault, I always misread instructions
. This is a new & improved version & I found it a little tricky to assemble, but it’s done now & there’s even a little blade storage area in the adjustable handle which will be handy as they’re usually in my pocket. Gave myself a lovely bruise on my little finger when it got in the way of something I was doing in the process . Just waiting for the new battery to charge & then I’ll give it a whirl. I have quite a few of these batteries now. -

I think it's a name that might be derived from 'grass trimmer'.

Actually grass trimmer is what was written on the box, but I’ve always called them whipper snippers. -

Fun fact: we soft-launched it last week and we were going to publish our changelog on Monday, showcasing video podcasting via alternate enclosure in Truefans, Fountain, etc. Minutes before we were about to publish it, Apple’s announcement dropped, so we ended up rewriting our changelog from a completely different angle.
