Currently at Monash Hospital, in a waiting room outside the operating suites. Ash is in for an early version of the c-section that was planned for Wednesday.
We arrived early afternoon, went through the assessment and pain management phases, then everything totally kicked off at about 5pm. I’m not in the room right now - anaesthetic protocol doesn’t allow it if they use a general…
So “quite a thing” and only going to get more so.
Aaaand shortly after that a midwife came out to tell me it’s all gone well.
Heading into recovery in a few minutes!
