@dave I'm laughing at the example of your invoice problem. 25 years ago I was visiting my consulting company's team in Krakow Poland to see their overnight process for ocr assisted human data entry of invoices and purchase orders from US clients.

@brianoflondon People are throwing AI/LLM's at problems that have already been solved by faster and more efficient methods. Zonal OCR is very good at getting you only the text that is needed and then you can pre-process refine it to get it 90% of the way to an answer before ever even bringing in an LLM.
