@shawnhooper But did they fit? I've had the same problem... then I realize that I did so because they didn't fit and it was more that I forgot to replace them (not that this solves your problem in any way)

@chris @shawnhooper This reminds me. I should get a suit. I’ve gotten rid of all the ones I used to have, but occasionally (very rarely), there’s need to wear one.

@ramsey I've given up. Last year I wound up wearing a pair of dark jeans and a sport coat for what I needed the pants for. It worked. I'm older than 45 so I figure it's acceptable at this point. @shawnhooper

@shawnhooper Depends on the event, I guess, but I find you can generally get away with anything if you slap on a sport coat.

Then again, my uncle went to his daughter's wedding in jeans and a tuxedo print t-shirt. I might not be the expert here.

@chris @shawnhooper I do the dark jeans approach, too, but I don’t have a sport coat. Maybe that’s all I need, and a pair of nice slacks.

@ramsey @chris Unfortunately this is a mess dinner at the legion. “Suit” was listed under alternative options if you weren’t in FORMAL wear. Or uniform.

I too, like the jeans and sport coat approach, but don’t think that would work for this one.
