    I took the plunge and purchased the Current RSS reader by @tg. Zero regrets - I’m absolutely delighted by smooth it is to use and how easy on the eye it is. (This is why I love MacOS and iOS indie apps).

    The app integrated easily with my self-hosted FreshRSS instance.

      I love OSS software. But when it comes to usability and beauty, this caliber of Mac and iPhone apps are gonna win me over every time.

        Yes, yes, ethics etc. Bite me - life is too short for shonky software. Just keep your data in open formats, self-host your data, and use whatever app or OS suits you. Jobs a good ‘un.
