Trying not to post a negative UkPol post that's been trying to eek out of me all day today.

    Trying not to post a negative UkPol post that's been trying to eek out of me all day today. It's not like it's news or an especially radical perspective. It won't add any value to your life other than to fuel the negativity already consuming our entire lives. Let's talk about something else instead. Fun fact! Australia is wider than the Moon. Does anyone know any fun facts other people might not know? Like for example Polar Bears skin is black under their white fur!

      @TheBreadmonkey I mean that’s not hard, the moon looks about the size of a 10p piece. Come on Australia, do better.

          @Nickiquote@mstdn.social @TheBreadmonkey@beige.party Moon coincidences: the moon is almost the same apparent size as the sun from the perspective of someone on the surface of earth (which is why solar eclipses are so spectacular); most people's thumbs can just mask (cover) the moon when their arm is outstretched.
