Bookclub* lunch. One of us is heading off on a world cruise, one has just returned from her Mum's funeral in Canada, another has just split up amicably with her husband. Sheesh, a lot of water under the bridge in 22 yrs.
Anyhoo, we're off to the most excellent Vietnamese 'Café 29' in Curtin, I think I'll walk.* no books

@sister_ratched we're off to a late picnic lunch this afternoon down by the lake somewhere or maybe Pine Island. No decisions have yet been made although there are prawns peeled and waiting patiently in the fridge while husband potters about deciding on the rest of the menu. It'll be salad, it's always salad - just depends on what he wants to gather from the garden today.

@luciedigitalni when I was around 11, my grandfather started to take me to the Golf Club bar and buy me a Passiona every fortnight. It was one of my favourite events - to spend time talking with him and to drink an entire schooner of icy cold Passiona. It was a reward for being his caddy and pushing his bloody golf clubs around the course.
