Is A Video Podcast A Podcast?

Is a video podcast a podcast? IMHO, yes. BUT… the show needs to be on RSS and be available for download on more platforms/apps than just YouTube.
If it’s just a YouTube video then let’s call it what it is… all together now… a YouTube video.
Nothing wrong with that, but it’s not a Podcast without an RSS feed.

@samsethi @phillycodehound I controversially go one further - if it isn't in Apple Podcasts, it isn't a podcast.
Now, many will disagree with me here on purist terms. But, Apple Podcasts (and the large ecosystem hung off the back of their open directory) is where the listening is. If you're not in Apple Podcasts, then that's cute, but nobody's listening to you.
