@Djeep first you pay income tax and sometimes state income tax. Then you pay taxes when purchasing a car, groceries, clothes, cell phone service, internet service, etc. Then, when you own a car or home you pay yearly taxes on those too.So, for some things you buy, your income gets taxed, your purchase gets taxed, and your purchase then gets taxed every year after you bought it.
